Link (Ex) Talan can handle Ari as a free action, or push her as a move action. He gains a +4 circumstance bonus on all wild empathy checks and Handle Animal checks made regarding Ari.

Share Spells (Ex) At Talan’s option, he may have any spell (but not spell-like ability) he casts upon himself also affect Ari. Ari must be within 5 feet of him at the time of casting to receive the benefit. If the spell or effect has a duration other than Instantaneous, it stops affecting Ari if she moves farther than 5 feet away and will not affect her again, even if she returns to Talan before the duration expires.

Additionally, Talan may cast a spell with a target of “You” on Ari (as a touch range spell) instead of on himself. Talan and Ari can share spells even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (magical beast).

Evasion (Ex) If Ari is subjected to an attack that normally allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, she takes no damage if she makes a successful saving throw.

Devotion (Ex) Ari’s devotion to Talan is so complete that she gains a +4 morale bonus on Will saves against enchantment spells and effects.

Tricks Known attack, come, defend, down, fetch, guard, track, +1

Ari is a huge white and gray dog with blue eyes.

Ari found Talan in Sigil’s Market Ward. Healthy dogs are rare on the Cage’s streets, so she probably belonged to someone; her former owner’s identity is unknown.

Ari isn’t shy about displaying her affection for Talan. Since they’ve just met, little else about her disposition has come to light.
