The realm of Arborea left its mark on Lord Cerellis. His skin resembled burnished gold, his long hair and great feathered wings a gleaming white. His brilliant and compassionate blue eyes were often misty with reverie, or closed altogether. He was never without his sword, ordinary in appearance but great in power, the legacy of his father.
Lord Cerellis was a half-celestial warrior of great renown, the firstborn son of the legendary tulani eladrin Faodhagan (Fagen), and Kerry, a human cleric who served by his side. Cerellis became a great hero in his own right, proving himself in many battles and earning the title of Lord in the eladrin Court of Stars. (Cerellis’s brother, Methodis, was also a great hero, but has been dead for years.)
As the years passed, Lord Cerellis grew too old to fight, and wanted an heir to continue his crusade. He married Lady Margone,, a half-fiend who seduced him in a plot to usurp his wealth and estate. Their son, Haden, is planetouched by both good and evil. Much of the actual work of raising Haden fell to Cerellis’s servant, Felise.
Lord Cerellis spent his last days in Honorgard, his estate off Aasimon Walk, in the Noble District of The Lady’s Ward. It’s one of several properties in the Cage which belonged to him.
The psion Gyderic destroyed Lord Cerellis’s mind in a gambit to claim the Eye of the Dawn, and his body followed into death three days later. After a private ceremony, his ashes were taken to the Court of Stars to be scattered by his comrade in arms, Catriona.
Though pure of heart, Cerellis grew old and absent-minded. He took little notice of his wife’s ambitions, and paid little attention to his son, preferring to relive his days of glory within his own mind, or with his dwindling circle of fellow veterans.
Lord Cerellis was created by Jennifer.
