Firil Starwing is an elven maiden, with a hint of blue to her green eyes, and dark brown hair that nearly reaches her waist. She has suffered from poor health all of her life, and is frequently plagued with coughs or sneezing.

Firil’s poor health forced her to pursue a more scholarly route to enlightenment. She founded the Circle with Numeledes and Eusebius, a cleric of Mystra. Some time after Eusebius returned to Faerûn, Firil disappeared without any warning.

Baltazo sent Gyderic to seek her near the Grandfather Oak in Arvandor. Our heroes arrived in time to save Firil from a tomb spider’s lair, but were too late to prevent Gyderic from stealing what he needed from Firil’s mind, then erasing the knowledge from her memory.

Firil feels sure that whatever she learned about the Eye of the Dawn was what prompted her to flee Sigil in the first place, but now cannot recall what it was. She has returned to the Cage to shine light on that dark.

Numeledes described Firil as “full of fire,” but she was disoriented and vulnerable when our heroes found her. The truth may lie somewhere in between.
