Jeremo is a lean and uncoordinated man who’s never without his ridiculous tufted helm. When not talking to himself, he’s blowing on his tin horn, or brandishing his rapier at a nonexistent foe.
Jeremo Malpheses was born in Sigil, and has explored its underworld more than any other cutter alive. Somewhere beneath the Cage, he found the Helm of the Dabus, which enables him to speak to the Lady of Pain’s assistants. Now he holds court in the Palace of the Jester, throwing money away like water washing down a drain. Once a year he holds a masked ball for the city’s most elite citizens. No one knows where his money comes from…
Jeremo seems to be barmy, but his relationship with the dabus keeps him safe. Despite his outrageous claim to be the Lady of Pain’s jester, her wrath has never touched him. He hates cranium rats, and posts the occasional bounty on any such creatures killed within the Palace’s walls.
