Lissandra’s a big, natural beauty, with wide shoulders and thick blond hair barely restrained by her lavender hairband. Strong features dominate her face: full brows, tip-tilted green eyes, and a wide mouth. She doesn’t put much effort into her appearance, though – she hates attention.
She wears a spare, sleeveless yellow-and-lavender robe that’s split up the side for ease of movement. Her strong arms are bare, but for luminous gold wristbands and an amethyst ring on the pinky of her left hand. Finally, she’s never without her portal log-book, which has a leather strap attached to both ends of the spine so she can sling it over her shoulder.
Like many other Primes, Lissandra hails from Toril – the city of Tantras. After nearly joining the Fraternity of Order, she began selling the dark about the city’s portals. Now she’s a one-woman library, cataloging all known doorways in and out of the Cage so she can bring that information to the people. She sends folks seeking keys to Alluvius Ruskin.
Lissandra has been friends with Jazra for years, but it isn’t clear to a casual observer what they have in common, apart from their mutual hatred of Fritzan Ringhammer. Our heroes have learned the truth, however – they both belong to the Revolutionary League.
Lissandra is inquisitive, unassuming, serious, patient, and direct. She runs all over the city, chasing chant and darks of portals, asking anyone who’ve just come through one where they’ve come from. Some are taken aback by her forwardness, but they can check her story with anyone in the Cage. Though attractive, Lissandra hates being reduced to an object of beauty, and has no time for gawkers and flirts.
She is concerned about the recent rash of portal closures, and wonders what – or who – is behind it.
Lissandra appears in multiple Planescape sources, most notably Uncaged: Faces of Sigil.
