Description:

Epic Level Handbook, page 223.

Bio:

APPEARANCE
Moss-Among-His-Roots, Wind-In-His-Leaves is unusually aged, even among treants, with cracked bark, yellowed leaves, split and patched limbs, and a single remaining arm. Many speculate that Moss-Among-His-Roots, Wind-In-His-Leaves is dying, but his spirit is as strong as ever.

BACKGROUND
The most ancient mortal creature in Arborea, Moss-Among-His-Roots, Wind-In-His-Leaves has lived with the Grandfather Tree since Arvandor herself was young.

PERSONALITY
The denizens of Grandfather Oak revere Moss-Among-His-Roots, Wind-In-His-Leaves’s wisdom, but his immeasurable lifespan makes it hard for the treant to relate to others. Even a yes-or-no question may take him a day to answer. Trillamir Evensong handles much of the day-to-day rulership of Grandfather Oak.

SOURCE
Moss-Among-His-Roots, Wind-In-His-Leaves appears in “The Book of Chaos,” from the Planes of Chaos box set. (The decision to make him an elder treant was an easy one.)
